Style Icon:Vanessa Hudgens

HOLA!
So my second 'style icon' is ...(drum roll please)... Vanessa Hudgens! A majority of you will know the lovely Vanessa Hudgens from my all time favourite musical/disney trilogy High School Musical. However aside from being the wonderful Gabriella Montez Vanessa actually has a normal life and fashion sense (wow who would have thought?!) and Vanessa's fashion sense is simply that nice she just had to be an icon of mine.

My top five Vanessa Hudgens outfits!
1.

I love this outfit because it is so casual but the heels just make it so classy. Vanessa has paired some plain jeans (rolled up at the bottom) with a plain grey top and a parka. To make the outfit even more 'smarter' she added a long gold necklace with a large medallion and a black hat. What's not to love!!

2.

I think white suits Vanessa perfectly because she has the right skin tone for it, I'm so so pale so when I wear white I look like a ghost, but Vanessa looks wonderful. To add a pop of colour she added a large black bag and some beautiful nude heels. Vanessa teamed the look with an 'au natural' make-up look.

3.

I love Vanessa's boho fashion sense that she wears to festivals. Vanessa looked particularly lovely in this outfit. She just paired some plain denim shorts with a beautifully detailed top that fits her figure perfectly. In this outfit Vanessa made it even more 'Boho-y' with the accessories. I so wish I was old enough to go to festivals so I could wear this!

4.
Once again Vanessa is wearing white and looks fabulous. Instead of wearing 'Little Black Dresses' I think Vanessa suits 'Little White Dresses' better! All of the white flowy dresses compliment Vanessa's hair colour perfectly. In the first picture I love it how she added a black leather headband to spice up the outfit, in the second outfit she brought out her boho side and finally in the third outfit she has gone for quite a classy look by keeping it quite simple but the eye makeup it quite dramatic.

5.
The fifth and final look I love of Vanessa is...

I love love love love love this outfit- I want to marry that crop top! The skirt matches the top perfectly and then the shoes just make the outfit all fit together and I love how Vanessa has added a dramatic lip to add some sparkle to the outfit!

Phew that was a lot! Join in next week for my final 'Style Icon' blog, I wonder who it will be?

Style Icon: Kylie Jenner

HOLA!
Firstly I can't believe it is nearly the end of January oh my goodness where has the month gone? Someone please tell me. Secondly I have decided that I am going to do a 'Style Icon' series for the next three weeks! Lets commence...
I have always been a fan of the Kardahians/Jenners style however I have always loved Kylie Jenner's style the best. I love how it can be girly and pretty but grungy at the same time. Another thing I love about her style is that she shops at high street stores like Topshop so you can afford it and buy it as well I am only a year younger than Kylie (gasp) so a majority of her clothing is age appropriate so it would inspire me to buy something like it!

My Top Five Kylie Jenner Outifits!:
1.

This is probably my all time favourite outfit of hers and to be honest with you all I don't even know why I JUST LOVE IT. BREAKING NEWS I HAVE FOUND THE SKIRT AND IT IS ON SALE FOR £7 OMG. Kylies beautiful skirt  is from Topshop (yay) and is on sale for only £7!! Darn it's out of stock, cry cry. But I just love the simplicity of the outfit yet she looks so sophisticated it's my perfect outfit. To create the look she added a statement handbag. You can get a bag just like it from Topshop (again) for £30 and finally you can get her grey crop top from pretty much anywhere! Am I the only one who is still obsessing that the skirt is only £7?

2.
This is pretty much a normal everyday outfit so why do I love it so much? Please someone tell me. I just love everything about it, it's all so simple! Kylies wearing these Topshop shorts, a beige cardigan, a plain grey vest, plain black boots and of course her beloved black Celine bag. In the summer I will definitely be 'recreating' this look!

3.

I adore what Kylie wore to the MTV music awards, I swear Kylie could wear a bin bag but still look incredible. Kylie wore a plain white crop top, a nude bodycon skirt with matching nude heels and to make her outfit a bit edgier she added a big chunky necklace and some bracelets. I love how her outfit was simple but she made the accessories add a pop of colour and used that as the main attraction of her outfit!

4.

I love this outfit because Kylie looks so sophisticated and smart but she has done it in such a casual way. All Kylie has done is pair a plain white t-shirt with pastel blue jeans and added a black Chanel bag with the most beautiful black heels! That's it, yet she still looks magnificent. How does she do that?

5.

My fifth and final favourite outfit of hers is what she wore while she was doing some errands. Kylie looks quite 'boho' with the flare floral trousers and sandals yet adding her 'edgier' side with the grey top, black celine bag and sunglasses. I also love her accessories she has added to finish the look. I tried some trousers like these on last year and they just looked horrendous, it baffles me how Kylie can look this amazing while putting in no effort!

Anyway that's the end of the blog! I hope you liked it and if anyone is kind enough to give me Kylie's looks and wardrobe for a day I would very kindly accept!

See ya next week

Bucket List:Venice

HOLA!
As I said in my last 'Bucket List' blog post that I would make one monthly. That kind of failed (really failed) so I thought that I shall officially start in now. So let's commence...
When I was about 7 I went to Rome with my family and fell in love with Italy. I loved the food (obviously), the people, everything and ever since I have always wanted to go back to Italy and Venice is exactly where I want to go. I would love to spend a 'long' weekend there.

Venice looks beautiful, imagine rowing down the canal in a gondola in day time with the sun beaming down on you- in my opinion it sounds like bliss. I'm not the biggest fan of the sun, whenever I'm on holiday I never ever sunbathe because I just get so bored and I am a bit obsessed with sun cream and since I'm so pale burning is my worst nightmare. However my cousins went to Venice and said that the excitement of everything you barely noticed the heat WHICH IS AN ADDED BONUS.

My fam (aren't I gangsta) also said that the atmosphere of it all is amazing, everyone is rushing around yet it's not too hectic and you still feel like your on holiday. As well if you LOVE shopping apparently Venice is surrounded with all of the best high-street and designer stores.

One thing that I can guarantee that will be amazing is the FOOD because did Italy or did it not create the best two foods ever: PIZZA AND PASTA. Venice is known as being a fish kind of city and I'm not a big fan of fish but I can play it safe with the pizza and pasta I'M NOT COMPLAINING.

How incredible would it be waking up each morning and opening your windows to that view! It's simply fantabulous.

I think that's it for now. If you would anymore information about Venice, go to http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/destinations/europe/italy/venice/ it's perfect!

Bumble and Bumble review

HOLA!
I have always been more of a hair person than make up so I spend more money on my shampoo and conditioner or just hair 'things' than maybe lipsitck or something. At my hairdressers they just use Bumble and Bumble products and I love my hair each time I come out the hairdressers and I think it's not only because of the cut I have had but because of the products they used. So for Christmas I asked for the Bumble and Bumble Seaweed Shampoo and Conditioner and the Bumble and Bumble Prep and my Grandma very kindly got me them!

Now now everyone you may have just had a heart attack looking at the price but these are TOTALLY worth it (as well I tend to wash my hair every other day, unless I have done sport, so they last longer)! The seaweed shampoo and conditioner is specifically for people who wash their hair nearly everyday or frequently but I think it's fabulous as a normal shampoo and conditioner. I think that it makes your hair soft, silky and it always feels fresh- don't be put off by the seaweed part! However it doesn't make your hair too soft if that makes sense? Me being the weird person I am I really don't like it when my hair is too soft because I think it has no volume and goes greasier easier and the Seaweed duo does exactly what I want in a shampoo. As well with the conditioner, because you use a small amount, you feel like its not doing anything  to your hair or you haven't put any on but I leave my conditioner in for about 3 minutes and then wash it out your hair feels SO smooth instantly!

I also recommend the prep because I think it's an all rounder. I spray mine all over my hair (I do have to comment on how powerful the pump is it's like your in a rainforest gee!) before I am about to dry it. Bumble and Bumble recommend to do this before you style your hair so you would use it before straightening, curling, drying, adding heat. I think that the prep protects your hair from any styling equipment or products you are about to use. It also detangles your hair, bonus!!

So overall if you have the spare money or if you want a reliable hair product that will fix your hair, volumise, de frizz go to Bumble and Bumble because they have every hair product you could think of and they ALWAYS do what it says on the bottle.

The Fault In Our Stars book review!

HOLA!
Happy New Year everyone, I can't believe it is 2014 already! I'm still writing 2010 down as the date, I hope you all had a wonderful time and had a brilliant start to the year.

I have been wanting to read 'The Fault In Our Stars' for so long because John Green is my favourite author and it has had insanely good reviews , so Santa was very kind and got it me for Christmas!

As soon as I opened this I pretty much read it as soon as I could and I finished it Boxing Day, I can proudly say I was/am obsessed with it. This is probably my favourite book I have ever read because it is so emotional, positive and negative, and I feel as though Hazel and Augustus are my friends- John Green is such a beautiful author.

What I love about the book as well is that the further the story develops the more Augustus becomes a main part and the growth between Hazel and Augustus' relationship is simply wonderful to read and know about. I also loved how the romance between them both wasn't your normal romance that you know. They both go through so much together yet it doesn't tear them apart, it's lovely.

SPOILER ALERT, DON'T READ IF YOU HAVE READ THE BOOK, GO DOWN BELOW TO CARRY ON
Now now everyone gather round I think I have sussed something out. You know how Hazel and Augustus go to Amsterdam to find out more about what happened next in 'An Imperial Affliction' by Peter Van Houten because they felt as though the story didn't have a proper ending well I think that John Green is Peter Van Houten in the book. You are all probably thinking what are you crazy? But just hear me out. You know how Gus and Hazel say that 'AIA' has no real ending and it stops because the girl either dies or becomes too ill and they have so many questions about each character, don't you think that TFIOS is like that? It has no real ending- it ends because Gus dies, you don't know if Hazel dies or if she lives longer, you don't know if Gus' mum and dad are still together, you don't know if Hazel's mum and dad split up if she dies. We have so many unanswered questions, just like they do in AIA. It's just a thought!

IF YOU HAVEN'T READ IT READ FROM HERE
Now I don't want to bore you all with my rambling because I could honestly talk about the book for years so I think I should end here. All I can say is if you get the chance to read The Fault In Our Stars (or any of John Green's books) DO!! As well the film is coming out this year so go and watch that and then read the book maybe?! I am SO excited for the film!! SO PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ THE BOOK.
