Christmas sales!

HOLA!
This blog post has definitely come round quicker than I thought, I can't believe it is Boxing Day already! CHRISTMAS WAS YESTERDAY! I hope you all had a wonderful and that Santa brought you everything you wanted.

Christmas sales are any girls dreams and a perfect way for you to spend your Christmas money! I shall be telling you the best places to go for the sale and the best things to buy. So first up on the SALE EXTRAVAGANZA is (drum roll is very much suitable at this present moment of time).

NEW LOOK
Now everyone I'm about to tell you something very exciting, please don't scream too much okay? New Look has 60& off I repeat 60% off, yes the rumours are true!! After browsing on their website for a minutes I have been out my two favourite pieces. The first one I saw instantly and fell in love with it straight away, it's the Purple Velvet Strappy Swing Dress. I love this because it's so versatile- you could wear it in the winter with black tights, boots and a leather/denim jacket and then you could wear it in the summer with some converses, plus it's only £10 what a bargain! The other thing I spotted was the Burgundy Sateen Double Tier Cami (yes I realise it's purple YET AGAIN but who can resist). I really like this because it's different to your average cami- it's tiered OOO. I think it's so simple yet so perfect for any outfit! Also it's only £7, what only £7? Yes only £7, again... what a bargain.

MISS SELFRIDGE
WOWEE up to 70% off at Miss Selfridge, they are spoiling us aren't they! Now I love MOM jeans because they are so damn comfy. These ones from Miss Selfridge are only £20! Mid Wash Mom Fit Jeans I think MOM jeans look the best with a crop top and hi top converse but they are just SO comfy- everyone needs a pair!

TOPSHOP
Topshop have also been spoiling us rotten with a 50% off sale as well! Grey Marl Quilted Zip Pelmet Skirt if this skirt was a person I think I would marry it. I have this and it is so comfy, goes with everything and is such a nice material. I bought it full price which is £34 but now it's only £20, you lucky devils! It's so nice- I'm wearing it for new years eve and so excited to wear it (how sad is that). I am desperate for a boyfriend coat and this one from Topshop is gorgeous if you want to add a pop of colour into your wardrobe. Popper Front Boyfriend Coat and how can you say no because it's only £25! I think boyfriends coats are an easy way to keep you warm yet stay stylish.

That's it! Phew that's a lot of information to take in but do go and have a wonder in any shop I'm sure there are gorgeous things in the sale anywhere-these are only a few of my favourites!

New Years Eve Outfits!

HOLA!
Well hello everyone, it's been a while. I have something to say... I'M SORRY I HAVEN'T BLOGGED A LOT BECAUSE I SAID I WOULD IT'S JUST I'VE BEEN BUSY AND ILL AND THEY ARE BOTH NOT A VERY GOOD COMBINATION SO I HAVEN'T HAD THE TIME TO BLOG I'M SORRY DON'T HATE ME.

Okay now that's off my chest now I can carry on as normal. As you probably know 2014 is two weeks away (honestly where an earth has this year gone I'm still writing the date as 2010) I thought I should do a new years eve outfit post for those of you who don't know what to wear but still want to sparkle and shine I thought I may give you a helping hand. SO LET'S CONTINUE.

For the 'I want to look FAB U LOUS' gals
This dress will defo turn everyone's heads towards you when you enter the room. Whoever you are you will own this dress, it's gorgeous.

Motel Discotheque Dress in Burgundy SequinThis dress comes in several different colours and they are all lovely. I think this would look beautiful paired with a pair of black boots, personally I would wear my black chelsea boots with them because they are super comfy and go with anything. This is a must have for new years eve because new years is the prefect chance to wear a super sparkly dress and look fabulous.

For the 'Smart casual' girl
These trousers are the definition of party in the front, business in the back. Moto Faux Leather Fronted Leigh Jeans. I'm sorry there is not pictures but I just spent the last half an hour trying to manage how to paste it but the pictures simply won't #kanyenot. ANYWAY they are basically Topshop leigh jeans that are faux leather at the front but normal black leigh jeans at the back-has the lord answered my prayers these are wicked.
For the top half of my body- as we aren't coming half naked would be...

YAY it pasted! This is the Pink Raglan Sleeve T-Shirt I have this top and I love it! It is such a beautiful pink and it looks gorgeous with anything so it would be perfect for the smart casual look, beware though the neck line is quite low so if you 'aren't very developed in that area' get the smaller size than you would normally buy. For shoes again I would wear my plain black chelsea boots but you could pretty much wear this with any shoes some nice heels, boots or even converse!

Thankyou for reading and join in next week (I will actually post next week I promise)

Christmas ideas for HER

Hola!

I thought as it is December (birthday month AND Christmas month!) why not start a little series where each week I shall be talking about present ideas whether it's for you brother, sister, mum, dad. anyone! This weeks shall be for women.

Make-Up
This category shall focus on the make-up crazy girls!
My first product is the benefit 'Matthew Williamson: the rich is back' beauty kit. Benefit have gorgeous products but with this kit they have really put the very best products they have in there. It includes: eyeshadow palette, they're real! mascara (my all time favourite mascara), gimme fever cheek powder and brush and finally a lip gloss in inferno. This fabulous kit comes in at a grand total of £26.50 which if you ask me is a bargain because the they're real! mascara is £19.50 individually! Whoever recieves this is a lucky girl because benefit's products never ever fail to impress.
My second product is Mac eyeshadow and eyeshadow palette. The reason I havn't specified any colour s is because everyone is different and everyone likes different colours to wear but if I was choosing I would choose a Pro palette eye shadow x 4 (£6.50) and the colours I would put inside would be Woodwinked, Swiss Chocolate, Nylon and Shroom. However every Mac eyeshadow is amazing, they are all very blendable and you can wear them with anything. Each eyeshadow to put in the palette costs £10. I think this would be a lovely present because it is very thoughtful and no matter if you like make up or not every girl would love it.

Beauty
There is only one place I go to for beauty products and that is Cath Kidston because Cath Kidston is so consistent with any beauty product and anyone any age would love to open something Cath Kidston for Christmas. However my two favourite beauty products from there at the moment are the Spot Cosmetic Bag £12 and the Rose Hand Care Kit £10. The reason I have chosen these two products is because Cath Kidston's cosmetic bags are fantabulous because they are the perfect size for all your make up essentials (and more!) and they last forever and always look classy, stylish and everyone always comments only nice things about them. I chose the hand care kit because Cath Kidston's hand cream is a treat for your hands because they leave them so soft and I always get really bad chapped skin on my hands in the winter and the hand cream's fix them perfectly!

Fashion
Everyone has different fashion tastes but I have found one staple item that I think every teenager will love! It's the Oversized Tartan Shirt ,£38, from Topshop. I think this will be the perfect present for anyone because they go with everything and everyone needs one! As well they are super comfy and you can dress it up or down.
This next item is mainly aimed at what my mum would like but I think any mum would like it too! It's the Vertical Striped Scarf from FCUK. It is £35 which is a little pricey for a scarf but it is Christmas and it is a lovely present. I think this will make any mum happy because it such a lovely scarf and will look beautiful with anything.

I think that's it! I hope you have either found something that you shall give as a present or found something that has inspired you with lots of ideas! Next week I shall be doing Christmas ideas for HIM but obviously there will be different categories.

Hunger Games:Catching Fire Film and Premiere review

OMG today I went to see Catching Fire and it is definitely the best film I have seen at the cinema the past year. It was so so so intense and I was hooked as soon as it started.
It usually takes me a while before I know if I like the film or not but with Catching Fire I loved it instantly. I had only seen the first one of the trilogy a few months ago so I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this one because I wasn't a massive fan, I have also never read any of the books. I had seen the trailer for Catching Fire and if I'm honest with you I didn't really like it but I still went and watched and I am so happy I did. As I said before it is intense and addictive but it also very emotional and I really think Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence play Peeta and Katniss perfectly.

DON'T READ THIS BIT IF YOU HAVN'T SEEN THE MOVIE YET(carry on reading just below)
I would have to say my favourite part of the film was when Peeta died and Finnick brought him back to life because during this scene you could really see how much Katniss loved him (as a friend or even more). You could just tell by her voice how much she wanted him to come back to life AND HE DID MAY I ADD. And once he did it was wonderful to see their friendship. This was one of the many times I had tears in my eyes. Another one of my favourite parts was when Katniss was wearing the wedding dress and she span and BOOM she is a mocking jay, her fashion desginer really is a wizard.

FOR THOSE WHO HAVN'T SEEN IT CARRY ON READING FROM HERE
When I first found out it was 146 minutes long I honestly had no idea how I would be able to sit for that long, concentrate for that long and in all honesty I thought I was going to have to take a banquet with me because I am ALWAYS hungry. To make sure I was never hungry I bought the biggest box of Maltesers I could (I love maltesers) and guess what, the film was so captivating I completely forgot about them. The ending however was so frustrating- not that it's a bad ending but because of how it ends. It ends with the most biggest cliffhanger ever! Definitely another reason to watch Mocking Jay. Overall if you havn't seen Catching Fire you HAVE to it is amazing. It is directed and acted beautifully and is simply phenomenal. (OOO big word)

I would say the thing that started to get me excited was the premiere. I didn't watch the premiere in London or New York but I saw the pictures afterwards and I must take my hat off to the actors, actresses and fellow celebrities because they all looked lovely. At the London premiere Jennifer showed of her new 'do' for the first ever time and I think it makes her look even more elegant. I think my favourite Jennifer look was at the Catching Fire premiere in Rome.
Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer wore a Fall 2013 Dior Couture gown and teamed it with a pair of gold heels. Lawrence kept her make up quite subtle and recreated the same hair as she wore to the Oscars.

16 year old Kylie Jenner also walked the carpet at the LA premiere and she looked wonderful. I really like Kylie's style in general but I especially liked her outfit at the premiere.
Trendy teen! The youngest member of the Kardashian clan proved grey certainly isn't boring as she rocked the red carpet
Kylie wore a simple grey dress with a square neckline and she added a a simple black clutch and black boots to finish the outfit. I love how Kylie looked classy yet youthful. Finally her make up was quite gothic with a reddy-browmy lip and like usual Kylie wore her normal eye make up which consists of simply mascara, winged eye liner and maybe a naked coloured eye shadow.

Thankyou for reading I will be making my posts weekly now rather than monthly so tune in next week for maybe another review or just a random post!

Autumn Fashion

HOLA!
I do send my dearest apologies to you all because I have been a bad person, I haven't blogged in ages! The embarrassment I have. SO to make it up to you all I will make (try to make) a super doper wooper good blog.

Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE autumn and winter. I just can’t be dealing with this hot weather in summer- ain’t nobody got time for dat. And I mainly love autumn and winter because of the weather and I also love it because of the fashion. Who doesn't love big thick jumpers and winter coats? So I thought ooo I know lets do a little ‘Autumn Fashion Blog’. Anyway enough babbling let me commence…

I have been looking EVERYWHERE I mean EVERYWHERE for a winter coat. I’ve looked in New Look, Zara, River Island, H&M the list is endless but I found my true love in Topshop. I’ve never really owned a ‘proper’ winter coat and I wanted a parka with fur- quite simple and basic. But I had a specific one in mind and I happened to find it in Topshop. I bought this one-

Yes it is very pricey and more than I was looking to spend. But I wanted one that will last long and one that I will wear everywhere. I do understand that it is a lot of money and not everyone will be willing to spend that  much so I have found a duplicate in New Look that is cheaper.

You’re all probably thinking now why didn't I buy the one in New Look. Well… I didn't buy it because I thought that the one in Topshop was better material and would last me about 5 years rather 1-2!

Another thing I love love love is jumpers and am a sucker for any Christmas jumpers (yes I’ve mentioned Christmas but it’s only 57 Sleeps away YAYAYYY!) or just any jumper. I absolutely love jumpers from New Look because they are reasonably priced and so cosy and cute! However I love Topshop and Zara knitwear too. I usually buy my ‘normal’ jumpers from Topshop and my ‘festive’ ones from New Look.

However Topshop have brought out a super super cute Halloween jumper that I am defo eyeing up to buy-
I mean how can you not love it! I’m not a big fan of the colour black and I don’t like wearing it but I may make an exception. I’m now looking on clothing websites and squeeling over the cuteness of the Christmas jumpers AWWWWWWWWWW.

Something that’s very autumnal are sweaters or long sleeves shirts. My first shop I go to for these essentials is Zara because Zara do them at very reasonable prices too!
http://www.zara.com/uk/en/trf/t-shirts-c269214.html I’ve just copied the link to the main page because I couldn’t pick out individuals I love, I love them all!!

These are only a few suggestions for some essentials in your autumn wardrobe so please don’t feel like you have to but them- I hate telling people what to wear because I think ‘wear what you like-don’t be influenced by other people’. Like I said these are only suggestions in case you don’t know how to kick starting your autumn wardrobe.

Anyway I best go now さようなら (that's goobye in japanese ooo how fancy am I)

Lots of Love

Bucket List:Paris

HOLA!
Or should I say bonjour?!(if you pardon the pun). I thought that each month I could do a little ‘series’ about one thing on my bucket list, so this first blog about my bucket list is going to be about the number one thing on my list- going to PARIS!

I’m not too entirely sure why I want to go to Paris so badly I guess it’s just how it's so beautiful and perfect. As well I just love how it’s so naturally beautiful and how it changes each season yet still looks mesmerizing. (Ooo good word Abbie!) I am so desperate to go to Paris that whenever I daydream I think about what I would do/where I would visit. Yes I have already planned my trip (how sad am I).

So let me tell you about my trip that hopefully one day I shall experience (DON’T JUDGE ME PLEASE). Me and my family would stay in a cute boutique hotel on the outskirts of the main part of Paris and each morning we would have breakfast at a little café near our hotel because French cuisine is simply wonderful! And then of course we would have to visit the main attractions: Eiffel Tower, Love Lock Bridge/Pont de l'Archevêché, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe/Avenues de champs elysee! HOW EXCITING! When I go to Paris/if I ever go to Paris I would love to go in winter because then I could wear lots of layers and jumpers and who doesn’t love to layer-plus it’s super beautiful then!

I mean how can you not love it! However I feel like it's time for me to go on I just ramble and ramble I think it's worrying how much I talk sometimes.

Au revoir
Beaucoup d'amour (how clever am I?!)

Being Happy

HOLA!
Well hello there my beautiful internet friendlings. I am back on my blog yet again, yes it hasn't been a week it has only been 24 hours but I felt as though my first blog wasn't a proper blog it was just an introduction so you could call this 'Chapter One' (or if you'd like my first real blog).

I have been told a lot that I am a happy person and I get told/asked 'Abbie, are you ever sad?' or 'Abbie how are you always so happy?' someone even said to me in art on Monday 'Abbie it's Monday morning how are you so happy and awake?' So with me being bombarded with these questions a little light bulb went off in my head *ding* and I thought WHY NOT MAKE A BLOG. So here I am (am I the only one singing the Victorious theme tune now?). Anyway I shall commence...

You are never taught at school how to be happy because you have to find out what makes you happy and you have to just think happy. Some people may be thinking but I don't know what makes me happy or I don't know how you can think happy. Well here's what helps. It may take you a long time to figure out what makes you happy, you may think that you keep on making mistakes or that you keep on messing things up but you are never making a mistake you are simply having lessons. So now lets erase the word 'mistake' from you vocabulary and replace it with 'lesson'. Each lesson you are having is a lesson closer to finding out what makes you happy. You now may be thinking what makes me happy, well... life in general makes me happy. I have no reason to be sad no reason at all so I don't see the point in me being sad. I always have a bad day once in a while, everyone does, but I try to turn it around. I just pause things for a moment and think of every reason i should be happy and every reason i should be sad, I end up having a gazillion reasons to be happy and no reasons to be sad so why should I waste a day being upset and miserable when the good things outweigh the bad?

Now let me get on to how to think happy. I understand bad things happen in life and there are hurdles you have to face but just think that each hurdle you are facing in life, the closer you are to discovering who you really are- you become stronger from it. As well there is ALWAYS a positive to every negative you may think pfft no there is not. Well yes there is and if you can't think of a positive just think of the reasons you should be happy and compare them to the reasons on why you should be sad and guess what, you're as happy as larry again.

This all may be a lot to take in at one time. So I shall now do my '10 top tips on how to be happy':

1. There is always a positive to every negative.
2. Surround yourself with people who bring out the best of you.
3. Learn to love yourself- this may be very hard at first but once you do you never look back.
4. Things could be worse e.g. today my brother was complaining how he had to work a 6 hours shift so I said 'it could be worse' he asked me how so I simply replied 'You could be working a 7 hour shift with a less hourly rate pay' that definitely put things into perspective.
5. Take a step back from things when it's getting hard and think of the good things going on in your life and then compare them to the bad. The good things overshadow the bad.
6. Don't compare yourself to anyone because you are just as good as them but just in different ways.
7. Love, Live, Laugh. Love- find out what you love and never let go of it. Live- Be happy because you are alive, you are beautiful and you are a one of a kind, no one is like you , you're special. Laugh- Apparently laughing makes you live longer so why not!
8. Everything happens for a reason
9. Never doubt yourself. The word impossible is two letters too long, you never know unless you try.
10. Say yes, you never know what happens. I say yes to everything I can because you have been given the opportunity so grab it while you can (again am I the only who has started to sing everyday from high school musical?), i'm sure it will be great.

Thank you so much for reading sorry if it's too long or too serious (if ya get meh) but I hope this can help you somehow.
Lots of Love

Hola!

HOLA!
Well hello there, what a surprise to see you here! (sorry for the cringeyness I have always wanted to say it and thought this could be the perfect opportunity-obviously not). ANYWAY... I thought my first blog post may just be a little in sight on me and my life.

Hi i'm Abbie. I am 14 years old and I am currently in Year 10 at school. I started this blog because i wanted somewhere to share my ideas and thoughts with people, a bit like a diary I guess! (except a LOT less personal). I wanted my blogs to be different to everyone else's already so mine will be about anything, literally anything. I will try and create a blog that takes everyone's interest because I think that's the best way for things to relate to you. You may (probably not) be wondering what my interests are. Well... I like to say 'I get the best of both worlds' (just to let you know i am not Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus, oh how I would love to be) sorry I always go off on a tangent, I love sports and love any sport from dance to football or netball to swimming however i also love fashion and beauty and i always find myself on the internet watching Zoella's, TanyBurr's and SprinkleOfGlitter's latest fashion/beauty video or reading their latest blog and I dream of becoming as successful as they are because it seems FAB U LOUS! (if you say that like Louie Spence its sounds a lot better). I also aspire to be a singer but i am the worst singer I and my friends/family/teachers know- I actually got banned from singing in ICT. I think it's time for me to end my blog now because I am probably boring you all , i apologies. I really hope you enjoyed this blog and will come back next week for another one!

Lots of Love
